Discussion on various topics of public interest has been an integral part of MC since its establishment. MC organizes discussions on current politics, media, education, climate change, books, etc. and shows documentary films related to various issues. We also conduct special discussions, specifically in media and politics within and outside Kathmandu. Currently, MC has organized such discussions with an aim to inform and update the people on the CA process, with active participation of the CA members. These special discussions are also designed to collect people’s views and opinions on the reports prepared by the different constitutional committees.

Discussions take place at Martin Chautari every Sunday at 3 pm on Research and Politics related topics, every Tuesday at 3 pm on various topics and every Thursday at 3 pm on Media related issues. Participation is open to all. Unless otherwise stated, all discussions take place in Nepali.
