Lokranjan Parajuli

Lokranjan Parajuli, PhD is a historical sociologist. He has written about education, libraries, politics, social movements and the media in Nepal. He has also edited or co-edited several books. He is currently the co-PI of the Spencer Foundation-funded research project “History of the Public School Education in Nepal, 1900–1990.” He was the Coordinator (2017–2022) of an interdisciplinary, Danida-funded research project, “Locating Public Finance Dynamics in Education in Nepal,” a collaboration between Martin Chautari, Kathmandu University and Aarhus University.
