2021-10-11

Kathmandu: Media Adhyayan - 1, the inaugural issue of the annual journal by the same name, analyses the state of media in Nepal as of 2006 through the eyes of various media experts. The book aims to engage the curiosity of those interested in social commentary on all forms of media and researchers in the field.

Brought out by Martin Chautari, it follows the development of free media that began to take root following the success of 1990 revolution. The book looks to fill in the void left by the dearth of objective study of media-related issues and covers all forms of popular media like print, radio, television, films, internet, book publishing and information technology.
