Originally from China, Xing Li is pursuing a PhD in Anthropology. Recently, while conducting fieldwork in Nepal, she has started to experiment with standup comedy. Xing believes that anthropologists and standup comedians have a lot in common, especially their curiosity in observing, problematizing, and representing the seemingly mundane everyday.
